Melampus is a private personal assistant used by one person, its owner, on his own computer. This page explains what data it uses and how.
Data from Google (Gmail)
- With the owner's permission, Melampus reads recent messages from his own Gmail account to show them in the app, and creates email drafts in that account.
- It does not send email by itself; the owner reviews and sends drafts himself.
- The sign-in token and any message data stay on the owner's computer. They are not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
- Melampus's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Other data
Notes, study summaries and project files that Melampus creates are stored on the owner's computer. When the owner asks for a summary or a search, the relevant text may be sent to the AI or search provider that performs it, only to answer that request.
Removing access
Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account page Third-party apps & services.
